Vehicle History Report
I HAVE DECIDED THAT IT IS TIME TO RETIRE AND SELL MY BUSINESS, CLASSIC CARS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, INC. IF YOU HAVE AN INTEREST IN OWNING YOUR ON VINTAGE CAR DEALERSHIP, GIVE ME A CALL AT 864 313 2908. EVERYTHING MUST GO. MAKE ME AN OFFER I CAN'T REFUSE AND IT MAY JUST BECOME YOURS. You are looking at a 1966 Classic Cobra 427 reasonable facsimile project car. I manufactured about 18 of these cars in the early 80's. About half of the cars I built were completed cars and the other half were rolling body kits. This is a body that was laid up a few years ago and was never built. I had the frames built by a local race car shop here in Mauldin South Carolina. It used MG Midget Doors with roll up windows, along with the Midget convertible top assembly, you have a car that is all weather instead of side curtains and a top that you have to fold up and put in the trunk as the original Cobra's had. The frame uses a Mustang II front suspension. This project comes with a Midget parts car to get all the Midget parts you need to put it together. I only put small block engines in the ones that I built, however, I understand that at least one of the kits that I sold had a big block installed in it. I had plans to build this car as a keeper but at 76 years old I know it is time to let someone else have the pleasure of building and enjoying it. I feel that my price of $8,000 is very realistic for a project vehicle like this one with the potential that this vehicle has. We offer a 90 day lay away on many of our vehicles.
