1956 Continental Mark II Factory Air

You are looking at a very solid 1956 Continental Mark II. Most people think this is a Lincoln continental but in 1955 Ford motor company set up the Continental Motor Division of Ford, Lincoln Mercury just to build the Continental Mark II.  They were built in 1956 and a few in 1957 and then they were discontinued because Ford was loosing a lot of money on each one they built.  This is a great running and driving vehicle with factory air conditioning, which was the only option that you could get.  It needs a good bit of interior work done.  All the parts and pieces are there they just need restoring.  The Morain Master cylinder and brake booster have been updated to a modern system.   The brake system has been rebuilt but is still the original Drum brakes.  The engine and trans were both rebuilt about 20 years ago and only  has a couple of hundred miles on it since being rebuilt.  I have a good many records with the car.  The gas than was flushed and a new filler hose was added when it was reinstalled in the car. The frame is absolutely rust free.  New tires were installed not long ago.  The power seat works and so does all of the windows, including the vent windows.  The car was repainted in the 90's.   You can own it for only $22,000 which I feel is very realistic for a classic vehicle like this one with the potential that this vehicle has.
